A Portland, OR native and guitar player of over 20 years, Travis Metcalf spent the first 15 of his guitar years playing in various unknown rock bands with occasional forays into the world of jazz fusion and the even rarer public performance on acoustic guitar. Travis moved to Seattle in 2000 to work with the Seattle Guitar Circle. Since coming to Seattle, Travis has become a student of Robert Fripp's Guitar Craft method and has played with many groups with diverse styles ranging from acoustic pop to ambient electronica, including The Steve Ball Road show, Electrochakra and The Electric Gauchos. In 2003, Travis became a member of The League of Crafty Guitarists, spending three months studying and performing in Atlanta, GA and in 2004 was a member of The League's first North American tour in over 10 years. Travis joined the Atomic Chamber Ensemble in March of 2004
